 What is the EMS Explorer Program?

The EMS Explorer Program is a dynamic, immersive program designed for teens aged 14 to 20. It provides hands-on training, mentorship, and real-world experience with the Austin-Travis County EMS Department. Participants learn life-saving skills, experience ride-alongs on real emergency calls, and gain a deep understanding of what it means to serve the community as an EMS professional.

  • Be willing to commit to weekly meetings and occasional weekend activities.
